Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 6, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how the Android game Project ORBIT, developed under the Lativera brand, handles information in the current release architecture. The local game does not require a Lativera account, e-mail address or password.

2. Local game data

Project ORBIT may store game data locally on the device, including level completion, best performance scores, grades, best times or moves, diamonds, achievement state, story progress, player-name preferences and other game settings.

In the current architecture, this local progress is not restored from Google Play Games. Removing the app, clearing its local storage or changing devices may therefore affect locally stored progress.

3. Optional Google Play Games connection

Google Play Games sign-in is optional. Project ORBIT does not automatically force an interactive Google Play Games sign-in when the game starts. A player can choose to connect by using the Google Play leaderboard or achievements controls in the player profile.

When a player chooses to use Google Play Games, Google may process the Google account / Play Games profile information required to provide that service under Google's own privacy policies and terms. Lativera does not receive the player's Google account password.

4. Data synchronized with Google Play Games

When Google Play Games is connected, Project ORBIT can synchronize:

  • Total Best Score for the official leaderboard, and
  • the unlock state of official Project ORBIT achievements.

Background synchronization is designed to occur only when a Google Play Games session already exists. Interactive sign-in remains a user-initiated action.

5. Data not restored through Google Play Games

Project ORBIT currently does not use Google Play Games Saved Games or Google Drive application-data storage to restore the player's level-by-level progress, diamonds or local profile. The Google Drive drive.appdata scope is not part of the current OAuth configuration.

6. Google Play Games permissions

The current Google authorization configuration uses Google Play Games permissions required for Play Games functionality. Google controls the Google account consent interface and the processing performed by Google services.

7. Security and data minimization

Project ORBIT is designed to keep its current Google integration limited to functionality needed for Play Games leaderboards and achievements. Lativera does not use the current Google integration as a general-purpose cloud profile database.

8. Third-party service

Project ORBIT uses Google Play Games Services when the player chooses to connect. Google's processing is governed by Google's own applicable privacy policy and terms.

9. Changes

This policy may be updated if Project ORBIT's features, platform integrations or data practices change. The update date shown on this page will be revised when material changes are made.
